One asked if I'm planning on getting it published and I think I'll start working on it again in a few months. It was interesting to research, at the very least. There's more there than people think, it's just about accepting facts and not holding on to visions of how one wants things to be.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10845051786114528609noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-617480612533506385.post-57507908408603240532010-08-11T19:30:28.432-04:002010-08-11T19:30:28.432-04:00Really? Equating the Gay Rights to the 1960s Civil Rights for blacks is insulting and definitely not the same thing. I think the fact that people are trying to redefine marriage only further proves how necessary it is to protect it by keeping its original intent and purposes.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10845051786114528609noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-617480612533506385.post-91633922079227243872010-08-09T20:42:21.226-04:002010-08-09T20:42:21.226-04:00It really annoys me when people try to equate homo...It really annoys me when people try to equate homosexual unions with marrying across race, ethnicity, nationality, socio-economic status, religion, or whatever. I'd like to know who invented that one. Although I'm aware that a number of early black civil rights activists (e.g., Alain Locke, Langston Hughes) were gay, I don't recall reading about anyone linking the fight for racial equality with one for sexual preference. But now many African Americans are bullied into accepting Gay Rights as a logical conclusion, and homosexuality is one of the chief causes for the black community falling apart.Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11046641822669890457noreply@blogger.com
